Suggested work for April 27th-May 1st

Hi all, welcome to a new week, I hope you’re all keeping safe and well ๐Ÿ˜Š
I would love to see how you are getting on during this time at home. Some parents have sent in some pictures and it’s a lovely way to check in! Feel free to send on some pictures and I can display it on the class page, send them onto lnugent@stgabrielsprimary.ie
For reading this great website www.getepic.com has a selection of books for the students to read.

The students can click onto their profile and read a book of their choice. This, along with the rest of the work, is optional! Take these activities at your own pace.

Writing: A Kindness Diary. Write down 2 questions in your copies:
1.       Who was I kind to?
2.       What did I do?
Fill in the answers to the questions each day this week until Friday. You will then have 5 kind acts filled in by the end of the week. It can be saying something kind or helping out at home. It’s important to be kind during this time off school ๐Ÿ˜Š

Create a fact file for Ireland. Draw our flag, and answer these 4 questions:
